The following is a collection of photos from when I did the 10 hour trip one summer from Melbourne to Adelaide. It was through the wheat belt regions of Victoria and South Australia.
Was great seeing a part of the country we hardly get to see as we normally fly from one city to another.

Looking at Dimboola from the train. Typical town in the Wheat Belt.

Upon entering South Australia near Bordertown, the wheat fields are still a common sight out of the window.
Crossing the River Murray at Murray Bridge, the Proud Mary Ferry comes into view. We are finally through the wheat fields.
Just outside Murray Bridge we encountered this beautiful old house.
Winding our way through the Adelaide Hills. Almost home now.
